Awis Guesthouse

You will feel at home when you stay at Awis Guesthouse.

Awis Guesthouse

The Awis Guesthouse and Marina was formally known as Ostrom's Lodge and Marina. In the Huu-ay-aht First Nation language, this would be spelled ?awis, which means ‘always water there’ or ‘pool on the beach.’ It is a reference to the location of the guesthouse near what is known today as Ostrom’s Creek.

Located only a few metres from the water, you can look out the window and see eagles and bears wander the beaches while boats come and go from the marina and government dock.

This cozy lodge is perfect for both large and small groups of guests. With six separate bedrooms, it is the perfect place to bring your entire family or group of friends for a private getaway.  It overlooks the Bamfield Inlet and offers sunsets you won’t soon forget.
