Hacas Inn

Bamfield's affordable accommodation of choice, located in the heart of Bamfield.

Hacas Inn

With views of the Bamfield Inlet, you can relax at this comfortable inn and smell the salt air on the breeze through your window, while you listen to eagles sing.

Formerly known simply as The Motel, the Hacas Inn comes from the traditional word Hacas, which means ‘place of higher ground.’ The name makes reference to the inn’s location on the east shore of Bamfield Inlet.

Whether you are resting after a long hike on the West Coast Trail, in Bamfield for business, or just checking out the beautiful West Coast and the great fishing it offers, the Hacas Inn is a perfect choice. It is conveniently located by the Government Dock and is only a few steps from the Malsit Public House and The Market and Café.
